Finding Love, Peace, Happiness

finding love peace happiness

I find no peace,

Waiting for violence to seize.

I feel the sorrow surrounded.

But In us are some values cultivated;

‘That will rescue us one day’ is my hope

Or ‘lead to havoc someday’ is my fear.

We are connected with one god who teaches us to love.

But we have discovered religion and confront with each other.

Moreover we wrangle in our fundamentals,

Thereafter we have differences in our own families,

Remember We fight, “Not with their flesh, but with their principles and opinions.”

“Thought – When you say something really unkind, when you do something in retaliation your anger increases. You make the other person suffer, and he will try hard to say or to do something back to get relief from his suffering. That is how conflict escalates.”- Thich Nhat Hanh

I find no love,

Waiting for sense of humanity to evolve.

I feel the scorn surrounded.

But In us are some values cultivated;

‘That will reunite us one day’ is my hope

Or ‘lead to loneliness someday’ is my fear.

We are connected wireless

But our souls are disconnected.

We are friends for a moment,

And the other moment we are not.

We are influenced by the gossip and ignore the fact.

We love folks “By clicking like online because it is difficult to love offline”

“Thought – If you love someone, the greatest gift you can give them is your presence. How can you love without being their.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

I find no happiness,

Waiting for the smile to shine.

I feel the yearning surrounded.

But In us are some values cultivated;

‘That will make world a happy place’ is my hope.

Or ‘lead to grief someday’ is my fear.

We are connected with one objective of being happy,

But we try innovative ways to attain it.

Our ways are self centered, shattering the peace with others.

We are in our journey pretending to be happy, ignoring the sorrow of others.

Remember ‘their is no way to happiness but happiness is the way.’

“Thought – Our notions about happiness entrap us. We forget that they are just ideas. Our idea of happiness can prevent us from actually being happy. We fail to see the opportunity for joy that is right in front of us when we are caught in a belief that happiness should take a particular form. – Thich Nhat Hanh”.
